Interactive Fiber Art Piece and Workshop
Nationale in PDX, OR JUNE 12TH, 2010

As a part of NO ONE & EVERYONE (Not) So Bright, Please, I taught a workshop where attendees learned to manipulate yarn and and then worked together to add their creations to a crochet framework that I made. After the workshop, I elaborated on the attendees' handiwork to make a piece for the June exhibit at Nationale gallery, pictured above. Nationale is an addictive and active gallery space and specialty shop in Portland, OR. Also taking part in the event were Marty Snap, Rikki Rothenberg, Jason Rens, David Neevel, Chelsea Heffner, May Juliette Barruel, Emily Baker, Anna Weber, Clara Seasholtz, Emma Lipp, Eliza Fernand, and Carson Ellis.
